On March 28, 2025, a powerful earthquake struck, causing loss of life, homes, and socio-economic damage across Myanmar, as well as significant destruction to national heritage sites. SHWE Bank deeply shares in the grief of the people.
Starting from March 29, the Shwe Bank family immediately visited the earthquake-affected areas to provide essential donations to those impacted.
SHWE Bank has been donating meals (lunch and dinner) in Nay Pyi Taw and the Mandalay Region. Additionally, we have donated necessary supplies such as purified water, temporary shelters, umbrellas, mats, mosquito nets, blankets, clothing, and medicine.
Beyond immediate relief efforts, the SHWE Bank family will continue to support rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts in the affected areas.
