HR Assistant Manager (Compliance & Culture)

Job Purpose

The HR Assistant Manager, who supports a positive workplace culture by leading people & culture activities, managing HR operations, ensuring compliance and driving HR Digitalization

. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES

HR Operations & Employee Engagement

  • Deliver employee engagement initiatives, people and culture activities and organize corporate events in line with organizational goals and values.
  • Coordinate HR projects and operational activities, ensuring timely and effective execution.
  • Provide administrative support for project-related budgets, including expense claims and clearance processes.

HR Information Systems (HRIS & Digitalization)

  • Support digital transformation by identifying opportunities for automation and process improvements.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HRIS and HR-related projects.
  • Generate departmental performance reports and prepare HR dashboards as required.

Compliance & Governance

  • Monitoring industry-related rules and regulations, labor laws, policies, and procedures, and providing support in compliance management.
  • Draft and prepare official letters, and assist in the expatriate hiring process, ensuring compliance with relevant rules and regulations.
  • Handle expatriate stay permits and visa extensions in accordance with government procedures and timelines.
  • Draft office memos and letters and maintain an accurate filing system in both hardcopy and digital formats.
  • JOB SPECIFICATION
    • A bachelor’s degree or a degree in Business, HR, IT, or Law is preferred.
    • Minimum 5 years of HR experience preferably in People & Culture, Compliance or HRIS.
    • Strong event management and project coordination skills.
    • Service Oriented Mindset is a must and be able to effectively communicate via oral and written communication skills.
    • Good digital literacy skills, with proficiency in MS Office and data analysis tools (Would be advantaged).
    • Knowledge in labour laws and industry compliance standards.
