Responsibilities
1. Project Execution, Progress Monitoring & Reporting
- Lead the project team in carrying out daily project activities.
- Assign and track tasks to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Provide guidance, clarify expectations, and support team members in their tasks.
- Identify delays, bottlenecks, or risks and escalate them to the Project Manager when necessary.
- Prepare and update project status reports, trackers, and dashboards.
2. Communication & Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as a key communication bridge between the Project Manager and the project team.
- Facilitate team meetings, discussions, and briefings to ensure alignment.
- Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, and external partners for project needs.
3. Risk, Issue & Change Management
- Identify potential risks or issues early and take proactive measures to resolve them.
- Track issues until closure and maintain proper documentation.
- Support the implementation of mitigation or corrective actions.
4. Documentation, Compliance & Governance
- Maintain updated documentation, including task lists, reports, meeting minutes, logs, and checklists.
- Ensure all activities comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure accurate and organized filing of project records as part of project governance.
5. Budget & Resource Management
- Oversee project budgets, expenditures, and cost control.
- Manage resource allocation to ensure efficiency and avoid bottlenecks.
- Forecast resource needs and coordinate procurement of required materials/services.
6. Continuous Improvement & Support to Project Manager(s)
- Recommend process improvements to enhance project efficiency and team performance.
- Assist the Project Manager with planning, budgeting inputs, reporting, and coordination tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, IT, or related field.
- Project Management certification such as PMP, Agile/Scrum is an advantage.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project management or leading major projects.
- Prior experience leading small teams or task groups is preferred.
- Experience in managing timelines, resources, and operational project activities.
- Good communication skills in English and Myanmar (written and verbal).
