Project Management Lead (Senior Manager & Manager – 2 Posts)

Responsibilities

1.     Project Execution, Progress Monitoring & Reporting

  •  Lead the project team in carrying out daily project activities.
  • Assign and track tasks to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Provide guidance, clarify expectations, and support team members in their tasks.
  • Identify delays, bottlenecks, or risks and escalate them to the Project Manager when necessary.
  • Prepare and update project status reports, trackers, and dashboards.

2.     Communication & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Act as a key communication bridge between the Project Manager and the project team.
  • Facilitate team meetings, discussions, and briefings to ensure alignment.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, and external partners for project needs.

3.     Risk, Issue & Change Management

  • Identify potential risks or issues early and take proactive measures to resolve them.
  • Track issues until closure and maintain proper documentation.
  • Support the implementation of mitigation or corrective actions.

4.     Documentation, Compliance & Governance

  • Maintain updated documentation, including task lists, reports, meeting minutes, logs, and checklists.
  • Ensure all activities comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure accurate and organized filing of project records as part of project governance.

5.     Budget & Resource Management

  • Oversee project budgets, expenditures, and cost control.
  • Manage resource allocation to ensure efficiency and avoid bottlenecks.
  • Forecast resource needs and coordinate procurement of required materials/services.

6.     Continuous Improvement & Support to Project Manager(s)

  • Recommend process improvements to enhance project efficiency and team performance.
  • Assist the Project Manager with planning, budgeting inputs, reporting, and coordination tasks.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, IT, or related field.
  • Project Management certification such as PMP, Agile/Scrum is an advantage.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project management or leading major projects.
  • Prior experience leading small teams or task groups is preferred.
  • Experience in managing timelines, resources, and operational project activities.
  • Good communication skills in English and Myanmar (written and verbal).
