Junior Assistant – Compliance & Operation (Human Resources Department)

Job Purpose

The Junior Assistant plays a critical role in supporting the efficient functioning of HRIS and People & Culture functions. This position involves collaborating with immediate superior, other respective department and/or government agencies, maintaining and updating the HR database, supports a positive workplace culture by supporting engagement activities, administration HR operations and driving HR Digitalization.

Key Area of Responsibilities

HR Operations & Employee Engagement

–        Assist in implementing people & culture initiatives such as employee engagement activities, internal communications, and cultural programs.

–        Coordinate HR projects and operational activities, ensuring timely and effective execution.

–        Provide administrative support for project-related budgets, including expense claims and clearance processes.

HR Information Systems (HRIS & Digitalization)

–        Support HR digital transformation, maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HR Information System (HRIS).

–        Assist to immediate superior in the development and implementation of HRIS.

–        Assist and provide necessary clerical support to generate departmental performance reports and HR dashboards report as required.

Job Specification

Education

–        A bachelor’s degree or a degree in Business, HR or Law is preferred.

–        HR-related diploma or certifications are an advantage.

Experience

–        Minimum 6 months or 1 year of HR generalist experience. (Fresher also can join)

Skills & Competencies

–        Event management and project coordination skills.

–        Service Oriented Mindset is a must and be able to effectively communicate via oral and written communication skills.

–        Good digital literacy skills, with proficiency in MS Office.

–        Willingness to learn HR systems, regulations, and best practices.

–        Ability to work under supervision while handling assigned responsibilities independently.
