Job Summary
The Head of Digital Business Development is responsible for driving the bank’s digital business growth across all channels — including digital wallet, mobile banking, internet banking, and emerging digital platforms. The role aligns digital business goals with the bank’s overall strategy and manages third-party delivery teams to ensure that business performance, KPIs, and customer adoption targets are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
• Develop and execute the bank’s digital business strategy in line with overall business goals.
• Identify opportunities for new digital products, partnerships, and revenue streams.
• Serve as the strategic liaison between senior management and the outsourced digital operations team.
• Translate strategic objectives into clear business plans, KPIs, and timelines.
2. Performance Management
• Monitor digital business KPIs such as user acquisition, transaction volume, active users, and revenue contribution.
• Lead quarterly business reviews with both the bank’s management and third-party teams.
• Ensure data-driven performance tracking and continuous optimization.
• Oversee budgets, forecasts, and ROI analysis for digital initiatives.
3. Third-Party Oversight
• Manage the outsourced digital business team and ensure alignment with bank’s priorities.
• Set direction, review performance, and enforce service-level standards.
• Coordinate between vendor management, IT, compliance, and business teams.
• Resolve operational or strategic conflicts to keep initiatives on track.
4. Cross-Functional Coordination
• Work closely with Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Marketing, IT, and Compliance teams.
• Drive collaboration to support digital loan origination, payments, and online acquisition initiatives.
• Partner with Marketing to grow digital adoption and customer engagement.
5. Innovation & Market Scanning
• Keep abreast of digital banking trends, fintech models, and regulatory developments.
• Recommend digital partnerships or collaborations (e.g., APIs, fintech tie-ups).
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in digital banking, fintech, or business development, with at least 3 years in leadership.
- Strong knowledge of digital banking products, customer journeys, and fintech trends.
- Proven experience in digital strategy, KPI management, and vendor/partner oversight.
- Excellent analytical, planning, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication abilities.
- Familiar with compliance, IT systems, and cybersecurity in digital banking.
- Project management or digital transformation experience preferred.
