General Purpose of Loan

Shwe Loan Lay (Micro and Small Business Loan) is a type of MSME loan for purchasing equipment or machinery as a part of an expansion program for micro and small businesses.

Product Features

For MSME entrepreneurs, 80% of the loan can be used to purchase business equipment and the remaining 20% can be used to operate as working capital for the business.

General Customer Eligibility

  • Business operating in the market area for at least 12 months
  • Borrower must be the owner and operator of the business (Owner name must be in the business license)
  • Two personal guarantors (Family member and any business owner)
  • Applicants must be 18 years old and 60 years after the end of loan repayment is completed.
  • Must be a business with no more than 25 employees or annual income of no more than 100,000,000 kyats.

  • One Passport Size Photo
  • NRC, Household List of borrower and guarantors (Copy)
  • Original Testimonial Letter from Ward Administration Office
  • Business Plan
  • Details of the purchased equipment
  • Company registration certificate and related documents from DICA of borrower (If company)
  • Business license from Municipal or a related Government Ministry of borrower (If not a company)
  • Business License or Company Registration Copy of guarantors (If Business Owners)
  • Business location, Business related photos
  • Minimum 6 months Bank statement of any bank of borrower (Personal or Business Account)
  • Bank statement for last 3 months of guarantors (income proof of last 3 months)
  • Tax receipts for 1 year
  • Rental payment receipts (At least 3 months of remaining payment) (If have)
