General Purpose of Home Loan 

  • Consumer Home Loan is a mid to long term loan provided to finance an individual purchase of a house or residence.
  • The amount borrowed is for a specific period and is repayable by fixed installments over the loan period taken.

Purchasable Housing 

All Apartments, Mini Condo and Condo which are built on Grant/Leasehold Land, Freehold Land, YCDC Land and DUHD Land, that are from authorized dealers associated with SHWE Bank's Home Loan financing.

General Customer Eligibility 

  • Any Myanmar Citizens with stable income.
  • Both applicant and joint applicant must be over 20 years old and not older than 60 years at the point of loan application. 
  • Joint applicant is allowed when the applicant is not enough in capital (only immediate family members are allowed) 
  • 2 guarantors are required to apply for a Home Loan from SHWE Bank where one of them must be a family member of the applicant and the other must be the applicant’s colleague or employer.

Early settlement fee of 2.0% will be imposed on the loan outstanding amount if the loan is redeemed through refinancing with other financial institutions within the first 2 years from the date of full release.
Penalty fee :
18.25% per annual
Bank lawyer/Assessor Fees:

50,000 MMK (Lawyer – Title clearance)

50,000 MMK (Assessor –  Valuation)

Fees will be paid by the borrower.

Other Charges :
Loan Application fees, Government Stamp Duty, Fire insurance, Other government tax that related to the property.
