Job Purpose
Supporting the between branch and head office departments for operations, travelling to branch opening, supporting to operation’s needs. Email in/out monitoring and reporting
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in preparing annual departmental budgets in alignment.
- Assist and process departmental expense claims, invoices, and payment requests.
- Maintain accurate records of expenditures and ensure they comply with company policies.
- Follow up with Finance on pending payments or accounting clarifications.
- Coordinate procurement of office supplies, equipment, and services as per approved budget.
- Maintain inventory of departmental assets and ensure timely replenishment of resources.
- Work with vendors to obtain quotations, negotiate terms, and ensure timely delivery.
- Assist check on departmental documentation, filing systems, and correspondence.
- Arrange meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Coordinate staff travel arrangements, training bookings, and logistics.
- Serve as the primary administrative contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide support to department leadership in operational planning and coordination.
- Assist in preparing presentations, summary reports, and departmental dashboards.
JOB SPECIFICATION
- University Student (or) Bachelor’s degree related field.
- Fresh Graduated or 1 year experience in the banking sector.
- Good knowledge of banking operations, branch processes, policies, risk, and compliance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio) and online communication tools (Email, Microsoft Teams, Viber).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Able to work independently, meet deadlines, maintain confidentiality, and work overtime when required.
- Positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to learn and support ad hoc tasks.
